WJELPROX™ supports repair, regeneration, and modulation of inflammation in large joints and cavities, etc.

WJELPROX™ is a tissue allograft product. It is derived from minimally manipulated umbilical cord tissue and consists mainly of Wharton’s Jelly, collagen fibers, and growth factors.

It protects and relieves the affected region, mostly by mechanically providing cushioning around the point of application. The other components such as perivascular fibers help to provide scaffolding support and also its several growth factors that support self-repair and regeneration. Additionally, it contains cytokines that are capable of modulate inflammation. These same components provide similar functions in the womb to protect the blood vessels that are the only conduit of life sustenance from the mother to the developing fetus.
